Raspberry Pi Case with Hex Bolts
thingiverse
The original pi-case design was not sturdy and required trimming for a perfect fit; however, I made improvements by removing GPIO access, eliminating interlocking pieces, and adding rounded tabs with inset hex bolt slots. The result is an aesthetically pleasing design that's secure and easy to assemble. For the bolts, I chose part number 6374 from BoltDepot.com, featuring stainless steel 18-8 material in a 2.5mm x 0.45mm x 16mm size, which provides both durability and visual appeal.
