Raspberry Pi case with breadboard
thingiverse
I had to expand the capabilities of my 3D printer with an LED system that I could turn on and off from a distance. To accomplish this, I came across a helpful guide here: https://dordnung.de/raspberrypi-ledstrip/ After connecting all the necessary components, I wanted to place the Raspberry Pi with the breadboard in a compact box to set up my light control system near my printer (and safely out of reach from my curious cats). So I added a simple extension to a standard Raspberry Pi enclosure that included space for a breadboard. I left the top lid relatively open to allow room for cables and the Mosfets needed. As my 3D printer (Snapmaker 1.0) has a maximum print size of 150mmx150mm, I had to make some adjustments to design this casing within these constraints. This is my initial step into practical 3D design, and I welcome any feedback.
