Rpi Case - 1202HP I needed a tower cooler for my raspberry pi, so I designed this Raspberry pi case to hold a copper tower cooler with two heat pipes and a 120mm fan. A 3B+ running octoprint struggles to reach 40°C under load. The 120mm fan is mostly for show, but the case has room for other items. The pictured version includes step-down converters from a laptop PSU that provide a convenient 12v and 5v power supply. Items required: Pi3B+ or equivalent Connectland Chipset Heatsink Model – 1504002 (specifically designed to fit this heatsink) Thermal Pads or paste 120mm fan 4x PC fan screws 4x 4mm feet 07/27/19 - A picture was added showing the achieved temperatures. Room temperature is around 28C, and the drop occurs when the printer PSU fan kicks in. Otherwise, there's little to no airflow through the heatsink (forced air is ideal). Note/Observation: Adding a thin copper shim between the processor and heatsink might be worth considering. This would provide more space between the base of the heatsink and the board, allowing for better airflow around other components.
