Raspberry Pi Case - StreamBox
thingiverse
This is my take on a raspberry pi case. It fits the raspberry pi 3 B, and should fit the B+ (I haven't tested it yet). The pi can be installed into the bottom of the case with four M2.5mm screws. Alternatively, I have uploaded STL files for a pin to fit in the 2.5mm screw holes. These pins can be used as a press fit into those holes to secure the pi board in place. Note, the pins will likely break if you try to remove them, leaving the tabs in the holes. Screws are recommended. The top half of the case snaps onto the bottom half, and is easily removable. The ports on the side fit flush to the outside, with the headphone jack slightly protruding, so plugging cables in won't be a problem. These print best standing up rather than laying down flat on the build plate. They can be printed without supports. I recommend you have a part cooling fan for the small bridges where the cutouts are on the case. If this item has been useful to you, consider contributing to me at: http://paypal.me/MarkGarety.
