Raspberry Pi Case - Mac Pro inspired design
thingiverse
Hello buddies, Here's the case I designed for my Raspberry Pi 3. I use it as a media center (Kodi) and wanted some aesthetic case with good cooling system. I like the Mac Pro design and thought it would be nice to have such case for the Raspberry Pi. This is my version. There's a 5V Noctua fan NF A4X10 on the bottom of the case for silent and efficient cooling. It's screwed onto the fixing plate using 4x20mm screws and corresponding bolts. The uploaded parts are from the version 4.0. The pictures I took are older (version 3.0). There are slight improvements in this last version, like a better cable fixation system or a system to lock the Raspberry Pi support in place when moving the case. Feel free to send me a message if you want some more details or the STEP files for modifications. Have a great print! EDIT 06-12-2018: * Correction of Part4 that wouldn't fit perfectly with Part5. * Added the parts for the "OpenUSB" version. This version allows access to the USB and ethernet ports. Be aware of air flow loss. P.S. If you like the design, please consider a small tip. It would help me buy PLA to test my designs.
