This Raspberry PI case is specifically designed to house the "RGB Matrix HAT + RTC" add-on card from Adafruit, which can be found here: https://www.adafruit.com/product/2345. This particular add-on card is necessary for a Raspberry PI LED Matrix Display project outlined in detail at https://learn.adafruit.com/raspberry-pi-led-matrix-display/software?view=all. The shell has a thickness of 2mm, with mounting bosses standing 5mm high. The sidewall indents for the power plug and HDMI cable are only 1mm thick to guarantee a secure connection. Mounting screws for Raspberry Pi are #4 x 3/8in.
