I enjoyed videohead118's innovative pi case design for the maker select plus, but it lacked direct access to the GPIO pins, which was a major drawback for me as I aimed to integrate a filament sensor that required GPIO connectivity. To overcome this limitation, I decided to open up this project in Tinkercad and cleverly created an opening where the GPIO pins would be located, effectively granting me the freedom to add the essential filament sensor functionality.
