I've been using the original version of the Octoprint case from Hofftari with my Prusa i3 MK2. It's the earlier version that fit flush against the back of the printer, rather than at a 90 degree angle. I recently updated the print head with the new parts from the MK2S upgrade, which were too close for the original version, and I didn't want to re-print an entire case to fix it. So I created this adapter to hold the original case at 90 degrees. It takes an extra two M3 6mm screws to attach the case to the adapter, but it works great with my setup. I didn't upgrade the Rambo case, so I'm not sure if this would work with a full MK2S upgrade. The Octoprint case sits lower than in the original position.

Print instructions

Category: 3D Printer Accessories Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: Prusa Mk2

Rafts: Doesn't Matter

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2

Infill: 15%

Notes:

Print with higher infill for stronger supports, but 15% seems to be plenty for the weight of the Raspberry Pi.
