Raspberry Pi Case 2 (RasPi)

Published on February 11th, 2013, this revamped "Raspberry Pi Case" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24721) design addresses previous issues such as misaligned RCA and headphone ports, and insufficient wall thickness for .40 layer settings. New features include an open top for easier access, VESA mount on the base, and a choice between two STL files - "RasPi Case2 Open Top and Bottom.stl" or "RasPi Case2 Top and Bottom.stl" - depending on your 3D printer's bed size. For smaller print surfaces, separate printing of lids (e.g., "RasPi Case2 Top.stl", "RasPi Case2 Top Open.stl", or "RasPi Case2 Top Vented.stl") and bottoms ("RasPi Case2 Bottom Final.stl" or "RasPi Case2 Bottom Vesa.stl") is required. Alternatively, you can download RasPi_Case.zip to access all individual components at once. Upon completion of printing, simply assemble the two halves and the case will snap shut due to the layer fittings. The creator recommends printing with a .5 nozzle at .20 or .40 layer height, 2 shells/perimeters, and .10 infill for optimal results. Enjoy your new Raspberry Pi case!
