Raspberry Pi Camera Mount Pan-Tilt Adapter
thingiverse
This part adapts the Pimoroni Pi Camera mount sold by Adafruit http://www.adafruit.com/products/1434, to fit Pan-Tilt Kits like these: http://www.adafruit.com/products/1967, http://www.adafruit.com/products/1968. Instructions: 3D printing makes this Thing work perfectly; this mount prints upside-down so the hex nut recess is on top of the print, resulting in a sturdy and reliable fit. You might experience sagging at the bottom cutout without support during the print, but it poses no problem when in use. To ensure accuracy, I used a 1/4-20 hex nut; its size might vary depending on your specific nut. The bolt, 1/4-20 x 1-3/8 SHCS, provided a perfect fit, although a 1-1/2 long bolt could work equally well. I modified my Pan-Tilt rig and printed this part, which clicked seamlessly into place; however, it is relatively snug. My initial print was flawed due to an issue with undersized 3D-printed holes, but I have corrected the file for future prints. Note that you can route the PiCam's flat cable out the bottom of the camera through the pan-tilt rig between the two servos without compromising its motion. If any issues arise during the printing process, let me know so I can adjust the files accordingly.
