Raspberry Pi Camera Mount for the Ender 3
thingiverse
I'm excited to share my latest Raspberry Pi camera mount design, which features a clip that securely attaches to the front of the Ender 3 (or possibly the Pro) without requiring any tools or hardware. The best part is that you can easily detach it whenever needed. I've also included loops for the ribbon cable, making it convenient to manage the connection. To assemble the cam enclosure, simply screw in a 3mm screw about 15 mm long. I'm really happy with how this design turned out and having it centered has allowed me to capture excellent Octolapses. While the mount isn't ideal for resisting vibrations, you can still get a sense if your print has gone awry. Keep in mind that my primary goal was to use it for Octolapse purposes. The .stl file already includes built-in supports, so just print it as is; a brim might be optional if you experience sticking issues. I'm using a 60 cm ribbon cable and would recommend at least this length for optimal performance. That's all there is to it - happy printing!
