Raspberry Pi Camera Mount for Prusa MK3
thingiverse
Couldn't find a simple camera mount for the raspberry pi camera on the Prusa MK3, so I designed one myself. Inspired by the many mounts on the X-axis motor - what a fantastic idea! To attach to the X-axis motor, I used an M3x18 screw. I secured it with a M3x10 screw and a locknut to tighten the ball joint. Those joints can be tricky to get just right using friction fit alone, so this design allows for easy adjustments. Simply pop in/out the camera, move it into position, then you can tighten it down to prevent any movement. The camera fits a bit loosely, allowing you to slightly deform the plastic to snug it in place. Printing accuracy plays a role here - if your prints are true-to-size, this might not be an issue for you. I opted for a bit of extra size to ensure a secure fit, and used additional fasteners to keep everything in place. You can find the STLs and STEPs on this link: https://a360.co/2wBCD7e
