Raspberry Pi Camera Mount for Prusa i3
thingiverse
A custom camera mount for the Raspberry Pi Camera is designed to attach securely to a Prusa i3 using a servo screw arm. This versatile mount can be installed on either side of the printer, providing flexibility in its placement. Assembly involves attaching the post to the enclosure back before reassembling the front panel. The post slides smoothly into the slot on the arm and can be reversed depending on the desired orientation. This innovative camera mount was designed using Fusion 360 software, a powerful tool for creating complex designs. To bring this design to life, it was printed with an Atomic Filament Gun Metal Gray filament at 210C, with the bed temperature set at 55C and layer thickness of 100 microns. The small snaps required thin layers to ensure a secure fit.
