Raspberry Pi camera mount for Athorbot printers
thingiverse
This is another take on the raspberry pi camera mount, specifically designed for mounting on an athorbot couple frame. However, it can be used on any device with holes that fit, and you can easily create new mounting points to suit your printer's requirements. To get the best results, print the design as I've laid it out, with the ball joint inside the cup. Be aware that freeing the joint can be tricky, but it works well if you're willing to tinker with it. Using the included adjustment hole to pry on the backside of the ball is a good way to release it without damaging the camera holder. When printing in PLA, this design works well, and I recommend using an M3x10mm screw in the adjustment hole. You can also use an additional M3x10mm and matching locknut at the joint between the arm and mount for added stability. Happy printing! Be sure to post your finished product on make if you like it. I may create a more polished version of this design, but for now, I just needed something that would work quickly to get my camera mounted.
