Raspberry Pi camera mount adapter

I purchased a detachable case for my Raspberry Pi V2 camera, this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IJZJKK4/, and wanted to attach it to a CamRah tripod. This one: http://camrah.com/collections/frontpage/products/pro-series-flexible-tripod-with-jaws-phone-holder-and-bonus-bluetooth-shutter-remote. So I designed these in OpenSCAD. The first mount attaches directly to the 1/4-20 tripod mounting screw using a square 1/4-20 nut. I used Bondic to secure my nut inside the mount adapter. Since my nut was very shiny, I had to "rough it up" a bit to get the Bondic to stick. Gluing the nut inside the adapter isn't necessary for proper operation but it helps prevent losing the nut. The second adapter is for use when you have a "cell phone" mount for your tripod. There are spring-loaded adapters that clamp to the cell phone. This adapter works well in one of those. I've included the source OpenSCAD files for those who want to modify the design. Everyone should include their source file for their designs. I'm using the camera as a HumCam and for other fun stuff. Print Settings: Printer: Micro3D Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: Use a square 1/4-20 nut for the direct tripod adapter. Use M3 screws and nuts to attach the Pi camera case to the adapters. How I Designed This: The mount adapter is the blue part. Closeup
