Raspberry Pi Camera Case w. Tripod Mount
thingiverse
A small case for the RasPi standard camera to mount it onto a tripod. Hacked the .stl of the original case to remove the stand and add a standard ¼" UNC tripod mount. Used two nuts (from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4394046) to get the length of thread but the merge went horribly. I've filled the surface holes but there are some internal artefacts that the slicer (Cura) complains about but ignores. You will need a support to print this on its front. I also let it support inside the thread which turned out nice in the end. The back of the case is a push fit but could probably do with a couple of location nubbins to hold it more firmly in place - but it wasn't worth re-doing the print. The camera locates quite firmly on the posts and is difficult to remove once in place. If I was re-doing, I'd probably increase the height by 1-2 mm to give more clearance below the connector so the the ribbon cable can be disconnected without removing the camera PCB from the enclosure.
