Raspberry Pi Camera Case
thingiverse
I recently got my RPi camera from eBay and since I was still waiting for my Pi, I decided to design a quick little box to protect it from damage. I wanted a small but sturdy case that securely holds the camera and allows easy adjustment of the focus at the same time. The plan is to print this out, insert the camera onto the little pegs as far as it will go, making sure the lens is centered in the holder, then heat up an M3 bolt and melt the pegs towards the PCB to hold everything tight. The case itself is very snug so I'm not sure if melting the pegs is necessary but I like it that way. With a bit of epoxy, this could be turned into a waterproof case too. I recommend printing with a 0.4 or lower nozzle and a layer height of 0.1 to ensure it will fit properly.
