I increased the base gap by 3mm to fit in the new glass build plate. This mount has been working for me for a while now, so let me share one trick I learned. I printed the arm out of PLA plastic, then used a heat gun to shape it into place, making sure it was just right. On my Duplicator i3 printer, the stock arm is usually off by about 90% when it comes to positioning with the x-axis stuff, so I made some adjustments - moving it back and lower seemed to do the trick.
