Raspberry Pi Box LCD 1602
thingiverse
Raspberry Pi enclosure designed to accommodate a 1602 LCD screen with a piggyback controller, resulting in a slightly taller design. Tested and compatible with Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 models, but openings for ports would need resizing for the Pi4 model. The design incorporates a Pi as a PID controller for my coffee machine. The screen is mounted to the top of the enclosure, positioned lower to allow room for jumper connections to the GPIO pins. Three 8mm holes are located below the screen for adding pushbuttons. The screen snaps securely into place within the lid, while the Raspberry Pi board snaps into the base. The box shuts tightly with no screws or other parts required. The top of the enclosure can be printed without supports, but the bottom will necessitate supports for the power port hole and tabs holding the pi-board in place.
