Raspberry Pi B+ Case with Fan
thingiverse
This is my one-of-a-kind custom Raspberry Pi B+ Case that I had a blast creating from scratch! After researching and trying out two different cases, none of them met my high standards, so I took matters into my own hands and built my very own. I decided to give it a unique touch by adding not one but two different top parts - one comes equipped with a cooling fan, while the other keeps things cool and sleek without any fan at all. I crafted a heat sink that stands proudly 10mm high and an impressive 30mm wide, but instead of using it as a whole, I decided to cut it in half to create two separate pieces, each measuring about 30x15mm. The end result is not only visually appealing but also super functional! Now, let's talk hardware. I carefully selected eight premium-quality 3x12 self-tapping screws that come in four identical pairs. First, you'll need to secure the Raspberry Pi to the lower part of the case using these smaller screws. To make things a bit more manageable, I recommend using pliers to hold the round supports firmly in place while tightening those tiny screws. Last but certainly not least, for the fan-tastic version of my custom case, you'll need four robust M4x12 machine screws to secure it perfectly. Just screw them on, and your Raspberry Pi B+ will be chugging along smoothly, staying nice and cool, thanks to that whirring fan! Hit that like button if you love what you see - it means the world to me! - Stanley
