I decided to add a camera to my MK3s and after buying the Raspberry Pi Camera Module, I realized the cable was woefully inadequate. So I repurposed the X-AXIS mount from the Articulating Camera gadget (which I designed from scratch) and came up with this solution. It works seamlessly and accomplishes its purpose. Articulating Camera: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3114849 This is my second attempt, so here are some things to watch out for: - Make sure your cables have enough room to move along the axis without getting tangled. - Be mindful of the Pi's SD Card. In my first version, I accidentally bent mine and had to reinstall it. - The pegs that hold the board in place are weak and may break when removing supports, but they're not necessary. The fit is snug enough to grip the board securely, just be careful not to push it too far down, which could put pressure on your SD Card. - The weight of the Pi isn't significant, but I can't guarantee whether it will cause your X-AXIS motor to fail sooner due to the added load. It works flawlessly and use at your own risk - if you don't pay attention to cables, SD Cards, and other details. With slight attention during setup, you shouldn't have any issues! This solution should help with short camera cables, and I'm using it successfully, so why not share it?
