Raspberry Pi B+ Case

Raspberry Pi B+ Case

Another School Project (Year 10) - June 24th, 2015. This is my custom Raspberry Pi case. I designed the case in Inventor and then cut out layers of 3mm Acrylic each, which are 1/8 inch thick. The "Other" files for laser cutting are Adobe Illustrator files. I used a UP! Plus 3D Printer and an Epilog Legend Mini Laser Cutter to make this project happen. I also 3D printed the bolts that hold the Pi together. These new bolts require some sanding to fit properly, but they provide a better grip. The top layer of the case is designed to be clear so you can see through it without any indentations on the top. This design works perfectly with both Raspberry Pi B+ and Raspberry Pi 2 models and gives you full access to all ports, including pinout. Print Settings: I used a UP! Plus 3D Printer for this project. The printer model is Up Plus2. Rafts are not necessary, and neither are supports.
