I wanted a custom case so I could see all the internal details and still access everything easily, while having the added safety feature of knowing it could be disassembled by simply setting it down on a metal ruler without causing any issues. This modification is only suitable for the B+ model, as the base features pins that protrude through the screw fixings, and the top piece is designed to fit over these pins using friction.
