Raspberry Pi Articulating Camera Mount Add Ons
thingiverse
I like the articulating camera mount in the original Thing, but I had two issues. First, since I wasn't going to be attaching this to my Prusa printer, I needed a base that I could attach to another project. Second, there was a picture of the camera mounted on a link with a wedge in the link, but I didn't see the wedge in the files. So this is just the wedge, and a flat bottomed base. The wedge is just meant to be put in the link that you attach the camera to. But flat bottomed base is meant to be used in your 3D design to join it with your bodies, so you have a nice place to attach this to your project. I'm including the step files for both along with the Fusion 360 file I worked from in case you need them. ------------UPDATE------------ I'm adding two new files, but just the STLs this time. I'll add the step files in later. The first one is a modified link that is a little longer and includes a "faceplate" to attach an [Adafruit CSI or DSI Cable Extender Thingy for Raspberry Pi](https://www.adafruit.com/product/3671) with 2mm screws. Because the extender ends up facing the links, there need to be standoffs, but because I don't want to print the link with supports, I made a little stand off. You'll need two, of course. 2mm screws should slide right through, but mine did get stuck a little.
