Raspberry Pi Arcade

Raspberry Pi Arcade

thingiverse

I wanted an arcade machine, but everywhere I looked, people seemed to want money. So I decided to make one myself. It was built with; - (official) 7" raspberry pi touch screen - Raspberry Pi 3 - Adafruit Joystick - 8-Way Arcade Joystick - Official Sanwa Arcade Buttons - 2 of each color - 2 cheap 65mm speakers I had lying around the tinkering cupboard. (OPTIONAL) - USB extension cable (to add games) - MicroUSB extension cable (for power) I created a prototype in 3.2mm (1/8") plywood, and plan to build it in acrylic as a final product. Two different versions were uploaded: AI and DWG. I will post a video once the cutting is complete on Monday. Additional features include an ESC button and F1 button on the right side and start and select buttons on the main face. To avoid any scrutiny, DISCLAIMER: This is a completely original make, meaning that, although there are many of these out there, with the exception of the Raspberry Pi and Screen images, which were downloaded from the Sketchup 3D Warehouse, the rest was drawn entirely without using outside digital/CAD files.
