Raspberry Pi accessory mount for Pimoroni Pan and Tilt module
thingiverse
I recently picked up a Pimoroni Pan and Tilt hat. The little gadget is really cute, but I had one major issue: it wouldn't easily fit a raspberry pi camera, so I decided to come up with a fix. It fits the camera very snugly, just like all my other projects do, and it's an excellent way to use any GoPro accessories. I probably should stop using calipers for spacing measurements - this design could be made a bit looser, but since it's easily adjustable, it works perfectly fine as is. This setup allows me to attach either of my camera cases to the pan and tilt armature with ease. Using 20% infill keeps the weight down and makes it a simple print. The Openscad file is included so anyone can make modifications to it if needed. Edit: 20190409. I made some adjustments to clearances - they were too close for my comfort, so I shaved off just enough to get it to fit perfectly. Now it sits flat without any gap and the clips hold tight.
