Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2 Amiga 500 case

A DIY case tailored for Raspberry Pi models A+, B+, or B2 mimicking the iconic Amiga 500 shape has emerged, leveraging Falken76's Amiga 500 model from Thingiverse but adapted for a compact fit around the pi without necessitating an oversized print job. Slicing issues with the original Top piece have been rectified using netfabb. As a result, this component now comes in at a significantly smaller file size and successfully slices through. A redesigned Bottom section has also been uploaded to facilitate direct access to the SD card slot, enhancing user convenience. This project is still under development, as the creator hasn't printed one out themselves yet, cautioning against potential challenges including necessary support material, whether it be by FDM or resin printing methods. Success with printing a single model using a different slicing approach indicates the need for careful material placement to ensure smooth operation and minimized support requirements. Given the project's current stage, it's still essential to exercise some degree of creativity with support material. However, experimenting with an upside-down print orientation seems promising, producing the shortest print time among various approaches considered so far.
