Simple yet robust relay box built around a Raspberry Pi and an 8-channel optically isolated relay, capable of handling both 230V and 110V systems with ease. This particular version features eight Schuko sockets, which are the standard for European mainland installations. The frame is securely fastened to the mounting points of the Tem ABS enclosure, where the RPi's PCB, power adapter, and relay are neatly mounted side by side. The cable management system consists of most components being glued into place using hot glue, while the relay cable holder is cleverly designed to float in place, thanks to the snug fit provided by eight 2.5mm2 cables. This system runs smoothly on Raspbian with Domoticz and can operate independently or seamlessly integrate as a remote Domoticz slave within an existing environment. For wireless connectivity, a USB Wi-Fi module was conveniently employed.
