Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen Wall Mount
thingiverse
Designed this mount in Fusion 360. The Official 7" display is precisely modeled and mounted onto a 3 gang wall box. M3 screws attach the frame to the display, while an M2 screw secures it firmly into place. A slot on the bottom mount accommodates an M2 nut, although the holes are snug enough that omitting the nut won't cause any issues. A POE to ethernet / microUSB splitter is used to power and connect mine to the network. Right angle adapters are required unless the Pi is attached to the back of the display. The STEP file is included for anyone looking to modify it. Edit: A V2 frame has been added, allowing for a USB port mount. Recognizing that multiple units would need keyboard and mouse connections without requiring disassembly, this feature was implemented. To solder custom USB extensions, these parts were used: Female end (B071JK5614) fits into the frame, while the male end (B072MCHX41) connects to the Pi. Some mounting holes have been adjusted for improved alignment, but either model works perfectly.
