Raspberry Pi 4B Snap case with rail mount

I really liked the original design and the remix however I wanted to mount the enclosure to the rails on my printer (BIQU B1) as it will be running octoprint and I really wanted everything contained within the footprint of the machine.</p> <p>This rail mount is designed to fit into the channel of 20x20 and 20x40 rails and be held tight with M5 screws and rail nuts. I have included two versions of the mount, one is with the rail centered on the overall enclosure and the other is with the rail centered on the top part of the enclosure resulting in a slight (5mm) offset from center.</p> <p>I also went ahead and added in a break out panel over the pin-out of the Pi 4 in the event that it will not be in use and can remain protected.</p> <p>I made these changes for my personal use case but decided to go ahead and post the files in the event that someone else out there had a use for this design.</p> <p>Again all real credit goes towards the above listed creators, If you would like to know more information on the case/hardware then please check the descriptions on their respective links.</p> <h3> Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Creality</p> <p><p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>Ender 3</p></div><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>Doesn't Matter</p> <h3> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>Yes</p></div> How I Designed This</p></h3> <p>After importing the original stl file into fusion 360 I then created a bracket that will allow rail mounted options on the pin out side of the case. I also added in a break out panel to cover the pin out access hole in the event that it is not in use.</p> </p> Category: Electronics
