I came up with a 30mm raspberry pi fan from somewhere that mounts to a pcb that slides over the gpio pins. It wouldn't work with any of the cases I had so I designed another one. Maybe it will help someone in the same situation. There is also a slot in the lid for a camera ribbon cable.
