The Raspberry Pi 4B is running extremely hot! Even with the latest firmware update, the RPi4 remains uncomfortably warm. To keep air flowing past the heat sinks, I designed this case with plenty of vents and a mount for a powerful 50mm 5V DC fan. The updated version uses sheet metal screws to securely fasten the Pi between the base and top. Here's a list of hardware and step-by-step instructions on how to control the fan through Python's GPIO: Parts: - A high-speed 50mm x 10mm 5V Fan: http://tnkr.in/5ka - A precise 100 Ohm ceramic resistor - S8050 Transistors, a reliable choice for electronics projects - #4 flat head, phillips sheet metal screws Controlling a fan using the Raspberry Pi GPIO is easy and efficient.
