Raspberry Pi 4b case with 2020 rail attachment
thingiverse
I wanted the OctoPi running my Ender 3 v2 to be powered by the Ender's power supply and mounted to the frame so it's all effectively one unit. I couldn't find anything that existed that allowed me to mount the case to my printer the way I wanted, had a place for my 30mm fan, and a place for the PiCam cable. Also, since I'm pretty new to 3D modeling, I take any opportunity I get to build/learn. I started by building what was walked through in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0NVC8xhf3I and then pretty much starting over from scratch with what I learned and what I needed. There's a case Top, Bottom, a 2020 attachment, and a spacer. The Pi fits into the bottom and top snaps into place. See the picture for orientation but the spacer can go in before the pi's 2020 attachment to keep it there at the front of the rail, but not sticking out so that it'll get caught on anything. The Rail attachment snap fits into the bottom of the case. See https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4888558 for the Buck Converter case I made to fit on the back half of the rails to go with this (seen in the back of the picture on this thing as well). Both the Buck Converter case and this Pi case have the .step files included so you can see how I built it and make any changes that fit your needs. I'd love to see any remixes.
