Raspberry Pi 40mm Fan Mount / Bracket

Raspberry Pi 40mm Fan Mount / Bracket

A simple 40mm fan bracket for Raspberry Pi is all I needed to get started. This design should work seamlessly with the B+, 2, or 3 models of the popular single-board computer. To secure the Pi in place, some standoffs will be added into its mounting holes. Since I only had M3 standoffs available, I carefully drilled out the board's holes to accommodate them. Note that the fan connected to the Pi in my pictures is powered by a boost converter, which increases the 5v output of the Pi to 12v. This was necessary since all I had on hand were 12v fans. If you're lucky enough to have a 5v fan, you can simply connect it directly to the Pi. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No rafts are needed for this design. Supports: No supports are required. Resolution: The resolution of the print is set at 0.3mm. Infill: The infill density is set to 100% for added strength and durability.
