Raspberry Pi 4 (RPi4) Media Center Case
thingiverse
A media-center looking case for a Raspberry Pi4 (RPi4). This is a remix based on two other things. Loved the look of the original cases, but wanted something an RPi4 case that would support an internal fan. In making this a couple of other significant changes were made. First, I got ride of the slot to easily remove the SD Card. It was such a tight fit to get it in and out, I decided to give it up. So, its gone. You want to remove the card, take out the screws. Second, I didn't like the feet. I wanted just a full, simple box. So, there are no feed here. Third, this is now taller. The old one was about an inch tall. This is a 4cm tall (10cm along each side). All of this to allow us to put in a small Pi fan. This supports a 30mmx30mmx7mm RPi fan. I found a pack of 4 of them pretty cheap online. Throw them in your cart the next time you order whatever for next-day delivery. The fan requires 4 M3x12mm screws to hold it in place. The bottom case uses 4 #4x3/8" screws to hold it all together. Both of those should be available at a local big-box hardware store near you. I strongly suggest you put the #4 screws into the case (without installing the Pi or bottom cover) to tap the holes first. Put them in, remove them, and then put it all together. If you want to really go nuts, get yourself some tiny rubber bumper stickers to use as feet. Hope you enjoy!
