Raspberry Pi 4 OctoPrint Camera - USB Mount
thingiverse
Finally got around to setting up OctoPrint, but I forgot to pick up a longer camera cable. I took a design for the pi case from this post (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3714695 - thanks!) and added a few pieces on to set up the Inland Camera Module 5MP 1080p Night Vision Camera with the short cable included in its box. I also used come simple T Nuts found from this post (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3050607/files - thanks!). The camera riser plugs right in to the Pi 4 USB ports. Nice and simple. Printing: I did need supports on the vertical camera riser for the USB portion. I wound up printing all the parts in one file though. Nothing else really needed the supports, but it added a few support plugs in the M3 screw holes. No harm really. Other Hardware needed 2 M3 Nuts and Bolts to mount vertical stand to pi case 2 M3 Nuts and Bolts to mount vertical stands to T Nuts 2 M3 bolts to screw camera mount together 1 M3 Nut and Bolt to mount camera mount to the riser.
