Raspberry Pi 4 can be prone to high CPU temps and overheating, causing serious issues. I've created a simple fan mount that allows you to attach a 30mm fan directly to your Pi for improved cooling! The design comes in several versions with either 2 or 3 screw mounts, accommodating different types of screws like m2 (or #2 machine screw) and m2.5 for the board-mount screws. For the fan itself, you'll need a 3v or 5vDC 30mm fan that's specifically designed for this purpose. To connect the fan to your Pi's headers, simply solder breakaway female headers with 0.1" (2.54mm) spacing onto the fan wires and plug them in securely. Make sure you're using the correct pins and pay close attention to polarity!
