Raspberry Pi 4 Case with Micro SD Card Slots

Raspberry Pi 4 Case with Micro SD Card Slots

thingiverse

This snap-together case is specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi 4 with storage slots for three additional micro SD cards. The idea behind this design came from members of the Guild of Makers, who requested a case that would carry their guild logo. A member of the guild brought this concept to life. The lower case of the RPi is attached using M2.5 screws, which are designed to self-tap into screw pillars for a secure hold. Once the lower case is in place, the upper case can be snapped on top with ease. There is ample space within this case for a fan, similar to the fan shim. To access the SD cards, users simply need to slide them into slots located on the side of the case and they will be secured by friction fit due to a small bump. Removing the SD cards is just as easy, requiring only a fingernail to extract them. Supports are needed for stability, but these supports should not affect the outside appearance in any noticeable way.
