Raspberry Pi 4 case mounted on Original Prusa i3
thingiverse
The Raspberry Pi 4 powers OctoPrint, a crucial tool for managing 3D printers with precision. I aimed to install RasPi4 on my Original Prusa i3, but closed cases can't dissipate heat effectively without a fan. This open-top and bottom design allows heated air from the RasPi to flow upwards due to the stack effect or chimney effect. Under ambient temperatures of 23 degrees Celsius, CPU temperatures remain at 50 degrees Celsius or lower when idle. To secure this case in place, two M3 screws measuring 10mm are required.
