see below

Custom Section

Prerequisites

This is for a Raspberry Pi 4B and an Ice Tower cooler. I loved the original design, but needed space for this massive cooler and portable drive, as the Pi runs hot running retroPie.
You'll need a Pi4B, Ice Tower Cooler, a WD my Passport or similar sized drive, 8pc of M3x12mm screws, hex head as button top wont fit, and 4 M2.5x14mm screws to mount the Pi.

Ive uplloaded the Fusion360 files and STEP files if anyone wants to modify it more, I used the base parts from msonst as a remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2407893

Mounting

So you will need to mount the Pi and cooler via the brass standoffs and some nuts, put together like below, dont worry about attaching to the board for this step.

You'll have to bring the M2.5x14mm screws in from the bottom of the Join part, theres one with holes punched through already, or drill your own. You screw these into the brass standoffs. Mine were 16mm and all I had on hand, but 14mm should be short enough. the case is big enough to handle the extra length if all you have is 16mm.

Place the Pi Top part on, and run the cooler wires through the large cutout hole, this gives the best room to move them to the pins. TRIPLE CHECK your pin connection so you dont fry your expensive Pi!

I added double sided tape to the HDD to keep in place

Use the 8pc of M3x12mm screws to screw it all together and you are done!
Category: Parts
