I modified this design for the 30mm fan to work with a 15x15x15(mm) heatsink and 30mm fan I bought from Adafruit. The fan is at https://www.adafruit.com/product/3368 and the heatsink is at https://www.adafruit.com/product/3082. I needed to increase the height of the top case by about 20 mm to fit the fan + heatsink. Now it fits perfectly.
