I designed this stand to set up my Pi with OctoPrint next to my printer and be able to touch the screen without moving the Pi around. Using a slicer plugin for OctoPrint and a full 3d gcode viewer, the core temp has never gone over 40c under full load. There are screw hole spots for the display if you wish to screw it down and secure it, but I did not as I take it out to remove the SD Card on occasion.
