Update 2019-10-01: I added a taller version to accommodate the display ribbon cable. I discovered an excellent fan mount for the Raspberry Pi from Microsoft and decided to adapt it for use with the Raspberry Pi 4. The fan mount from Microsoft was perfect, but I soon realized that the Pi 4 requires a heat sink over its USB controller (VL805-Q6). After researching different options, I found that heat sinks designed for 2208 stepper motor controllers work incredibly well. They are compact and tall, making them ideal for my needs. To overcome this challenge, I modified the standoffs to be taller and mounted the fan on the other side of the Pi, directly over the DSI Display Port. This allowed me to connect a 30mm 5v fan to the 3.3v header, resulting in a quiet and efficient cooling system for my Raspberry Pi 4. In addition to the fan mount modifications, I also made a design change to allow the part to print on its side by adding a corner to the standoffs. For reference, I used the following products: * Fans: https://amzn.to/30jtdcw * Heat sinks: https://amzn.to/34PzcsQ * M2.5 screw kit: https://amzn.to/302Kdbv The wall mount for the Pi featured in the photos is available on Thingiverse at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2085090. Interestingly, this design shares similarities with the one used by Hewlett Packard on their N series Vectra's.
