Raspberry PI 3B+ case with space for 40x10 5V fan Noctua NF-A4x10

All Raspberry cases I have found were small, fancy, without possibility to mount a fan. So I have made one.

It is not the smallest one or the fanciest case, but it is easy to print and there is possible to mount 40x10 fan (I am using Noctua NF-A4x10) so temperature can be significantly lowered (from 60+ C to cca 35C in my case - see sshot).

Intentional big hole for USB is created as USB power connector is locked with hot glue (easily removable using IPO) to prevent any misbehavior.

To finish it - only M3 screws are needed (printed threads are used instead of nuts). Rest is optional or Noctua fan accessories were used.

Enjoy!

Print instructions

Unassociated tags: 3b+

Category: Computer Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: I3 MK3S

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2

Infill: 15

Notes:

I am using approx 50% speed to define perfect first layer (in Prusa slicer 10 instead of default 20).
