Raspberry Pi 3B+ case for Ender 3 dual rail Octoprint
thingiverse
I created a remix of the original design by ender1968, drawing inspiration from deez2009's and zerozero's remixes. After printing deez2009's remix, I found it looked fantastic but struggled to fit it into the rails. However, after some investigation, I identified the problem that was preventing the two parts from closing all the way and made the necessary adjustments. To further enhance the design, I enlarged the label "OctoPi" slightly and added bridges to prevent the inner parts of the letters from falling out. With these modifications in place, I printed the revised design and found it fit much better into the rails. While a bit of force is still required to slide it in and out, using lubricant can make the process smoother if desired. For those who already own an enclosure but struggle with fitting it onto the rail or prefer another design, printing just the bottom part may be a viable solution. This is where I had to address the initial issue.
