This is my reimagining of J741's Pi case. I've infused both the upper and lower case with 6 mm Polygon honeycomb mesh to enhance airflow and visual appeal. Required components: - Raspberry Pi 3B+ 1 unit - A 3010 5v fan to keep things cool, powered directly from the Pi's GPIO header. 1 unit - M3 x 4mm BHCS to mount the Pi to the case lower portion. 4 units I'm deeply grateful to J741 for creating the original design. Observed temperatures pre and post upgrade: Pi in factory case no fan lid off: room temperature 21c, Pi SOC: 44c @ idle Pi in factory case no fan, lid off: room temperature 21c, Pi SOC:48.9c with print running Pi in new case, with 30mm fan, room temperature 21c Pi SOC 34.3c @ idle Pi in new case, with fan: room temperature 21c Pi SOC: 35.4c with print running
