Raspberry Pi 3 Slim Case with Heatsink Cutout
thingiverse
Slim fit for the new Raspberry Pi 3 model. The case assembles perfectly without any hardware mounting needed. Remix enhancements have been made: Cutout added for CPU heat sink since RPi3s tend to run hotter. A 13mm x 18mm heat sink was used, available at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZZ9P3QC. Precise measurements were taken, with camera and display ribbon cutouts revised to fit snugly. A vent has been added to the case bottom directly below the CPU, utilizing bumper feet found at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DVSFNM. Increased the thickness of the top and bottom faces from 1mm to 1.5mm for enhanced strength and reduced flexibility. Two versions of both the top and bottom cases are available for download, allowing users to choose between display and camera cable cutouts, as well as vent cutouts on the bottom or not.
