Raspberry Pi 3 Security Camera Enclosure
prusaprinters

You can use these two parts to build a security camera with a Raspberry Pi 3 (and probably 2 and 4) and a camera module like this one. Take the camera parts apart and screw them to the cover. I use a long USB cable for providing power and Wifi to connect and I use MotioneyeOS for an operating system which works extremely well out of the box with motion detection and auto uploading via sftp.

I printed the enclosure in PETG and screwed it to my garage roof from the bottom looking down. The camera has been running outside day and night, summer and winter for over a year without a problem. It's protected against rain and you can put some transparent tape over the camera holes and around the edge where cover and housing come together.
