Raspberry Pi 3 + Raid 1 (2x2.5" disk room) case
thingiverse
This is a test run for proposing one Raspberry Pi 3 and two 2.5-inch disks to set up a Raid 1 configuration. Assuming you are using two connectors like this one (https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/USB-3-0-to-Sata-adapter-converter-cable-7pin-sataIII-to-USB3-0-adapters-for/32830988939.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27426c37xWGQgn) for your disks, you won't actually need USB 3 connectors; however, be mindful of the size. **Edit**: I've added a flush mounting edge and a hole on top to accommodate an Ethernet (or external powered USB hub) cable. Prototype photos reveal that there are still some adjustments needed: not enough space between the top and the board for fan pins, insufficient room at the rear for the usb sata connector cable, and fragile fixing parts.
