Raspberry Pi 3 or 4 5" LCD Case

This project was born out of frustration, as I couldn't find a suitable 5" screen mount that allowed for good airflow around the Raspberry Pi and fan. Most cases I came across had the fan located behind the PI or neglected to account for its presence altogether. This setup provides ample interior space due to its vertical orientation, but I prefer not to overcrowd the components, allowing for better airflow. The bottom of the case features two mounting points for hanging it from a nail or screw on the wall. A slot is provided for dropping in a 40mm fan without requiring any screws. The LCD screen itself holds the fan in place, while all other components are designed to utilize M3 screws. I've deployed several of these setups running both Raspberry Pi 3's and 4's as Plex servers, Octoprint for my Prusa printer, Pi-Hole, and a few other applications. On average, the temperature on the 3's remains in the mid-30s, while the 4's stay in the low 40s. However, your actual results may vary based on your specific use case. Although I typically mount them on my office wall for visual appeal, during initial setup, I found it more convenient to have them on my desk. To facilitate this, I created a simple stand that allows the case to sit at a 45-degree angle, making it easier to work with. The stand itself is designed with numerous 45-degree angles, enabling it to print without support.
